EDITORS NOTE !
Hello Abu Dhabi,

Once again the city will reverberate with the sound of international music as performers from all over the globe converge to Abu Dhabi for WOMAD 2010. From local bands like ABRI to international ones like Hanggai and LeTrio Joubran - audiences will be regaled by music from Spain, Algeria, Iraq, UAE, India, Burundi, US, France, Mali, Sudan, Egypt, China, Nigeria, UK and Pakistan. What a line-up of performers! It encapsulates the true essence of the festival; One World, One Rhythm. Adding to all the fun and cultural experience will be the orchestral performance of Venice’s legendary Teatro La Fenice in Abu Dhabi Classics. All set to unleash the magic of Italian romantic composer, Giuseppe Fortunino Francesco Verdi, the orchestra will be joined by renowned soloists adding to the magic of opera. Meanwhile the Noble Humanitarian Awards Middle East will be awarded to deserving charities in the region in a ceremony at Emirates Palace.

The next two weeks are packed with memorable performances so keep your daily planner aside, put on your dancing shoes and head to Abu Dhabi Corniche to join the party!

Love and kindness to all,
Sana
